Frequently asked questions.

How does in home grooming work?

In home grooming is the most convenient and stress free way for your baby to get a haircut! We come into your home, bathe your dog in your sink/tub/shower, then dry them on our own table which we set up anywhere near an outlet. We can even do outside on a nice day! After your baby is dry and groomed, the shop vac will clean up all the mess! You will never even know we were there!

Do I need to provide anything?

The only item we may need on the day of grooming is a towel, or any personal items your dog may use exclusively to them, like a toothbrush, medicated shampoo, etc.

How long does the grooming take?

All of our groomers are very experienced and are typically done grooming a dog under 20 lbs within an hour. However, there are many factors that can make this time slightly longer. For this reason we encourage you to enclose any extra information about your dog ahead of the groom. This can be anything from what knots they may have, to what behavioral issues they have. This will help us give you a more exact estimate for your groom.

Am I able to stay while my dog is being groomed?

The purpose of in home grooming is to make your baby and you the most comfortable. We will always be happy to have you there for the entire process, especially if your dog has anxiety. The only thing we ask for is to try to stay further than an arms distance away. This is because sometimes when a dog sees its parent close by, they may way to jump to them which can lead to them getting hurt. Every session is different, so we can try many different tecniques to see what works best for your pup.
